Our pigs spend their lives outdoors enjoying fresh air and pasture. Their diet includes pasture forage, an abundance of organic vegetables from our farm, and non-medicated grain. They are never given antibiotics or growth hormones. Our pigs are slaughtered on farm so that they do not have to experience the stress of travel and being in a new location at the end of their lives. Because of this, they must be sold as whole or half animals. One half pig is good for a couple or a very bacon and sausage happy individual (about 60 pounds of meat). Complete butchering and smoking of bacon and other select cuts is included in the price.
