Our pigs spend fall and spring outdoors enjoying fresh air and pasture. In the winter they are kept warm in the barn. Their diet includes pasture forage, an abundance of organic vegetables from our farm, and non-medicated grain. They are never given antibiotics or growth hormones. Our pigs are slaughtered on farm so that they do not have to experience the stress of travel and being in a new location at the end of their lives. Because of this, they must be sold as whole animals. One pig should easily satisfy a family for a year (about 120 pounds of meat). Complete butchering is included in the price.
